Scott Bell

Scott has an extensive background in AI, deeptech and finance. He co-founded Cipher, the world’s leading patent analytics platform powered by AI, which was sold to RELX. He co-founded and chairs Aya Data, a fully integrated AI solutions business with operations across the UK, Africa and India. He is co-founder and Joint Managing Partner of Dark Matter Partners, providing structured capital to European deeptech scale-ups. He has served as Chairman of Provenance, a global AI-enabled data platform for retailers and brand owners.
Previously in banking, he was Head of UK & Eire corporate and investment banking, as well as Global head of Consumer, at Deutsche Bank. Prior to that he ran global businesses at HSBC and Goldman Sachs. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant, and has an MA from Cambridge University.
